Fatigue Review, Policy & Procedure Development

Ethos Health Fatigue Review process helps workplaces understand their key fatigue risks, incidents of fatigue, effectiveness of current policies and procedures and overall compliance with the Code of Practice. The review is critical for benchmarking your organisation and developing a customised management plan, including company policy and procedure, to more effectively manage fatigue.

What can you expect?

Step 1 - Fatigue Review

  • Review current roster/shift systems and policy/procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, codes of practice and/or guidelines in relation to risk minimization
  • Workforce fatigue culture survey and report
  • Facilitation of fatigue review workshop (including health and safety committee representatives)
  • Finalisation of fatigue risk review report & recommendations with presentation to management.

Step 2 - Policy and Procedural Review

  • Draft/Revise fatigue management policy and procedure.
  • Meet with management to discuss the draft fatigue management policy and procedures and implications to the business.
  • Workshop the draft fatigue management policy and procedures with the HSEC committee.
  • Amend policy & procedures and finalise (this time allows for 3 stages in the review and finalisation process, as well as, a presentation to management)
